Developing My First Photographs

One we had done the first test shoot we were taught the right way to develop film and which chemicals to use, how much to put in the container, etc ... Lucky for me my film developed fine and I was able to see how my shots had turned out. We were next show how to create contact sheets to allow us to see all our images better and how to use the enlarger machines. After we had got use to using the machines we were taught how to do solarisation which is when you have exposed your photographic paper you submerge it in developing fluid until you just start seeing some detail appearing and then you flash the paper with light for a second or two and then put it back in the fluid. It give the image a silvery look to it.
